​​Natural reserve on the south east coast of the Municipality of Humacao, PR. Thisextraordinary place contains several unique ecosystems such as lagoons, wetlands, mangrove forests, palm tree forests and others.As a project that incorporates elements of both landscape and architecture itdemonstrates a strong commitment and a great sense of responsibility towards thenatural environment.The location of each structure is strategically selected thru careful study of each siteso as to exert the minimal impact on the ecosystem. The new structures blend inharmoniously with the natural environment and act as sentinels for the naturalresources of the site. As the first eco-touristic development to be built in anecological reserve in Puerto Rico it will serve as a model for future sustainabledesign interventions in the islands unique ecosystems. It will help promote a moreecological sensible form of tourism.
